All the products listed here are made on St Agnes from Scillonian trees and island driftwood - aiming to showcase the natural tactile beauty of the wood with all its quirks and individuality, without shiny lacquered finishes. Unless otherwise indicated, they are finished with a food safe mixture of local beeswax and flaxseed oil.
Being made from a natural product (by a woodturner with much still to learn) they are prone to all sorts of misbehaviours during their lifetimes including cracking, distorting and discolouring. In this, they are rather like ourselves - telling their story through their flaws and transformations.
They are all one-offs and if the listing says 'out of stock' then I'm afraid you are too late but please contact me to discuss commissions.
