This bowl is from a really cool batch of St Agnes pittosporum, with natural bark inclusions, almost pictorial markings and a lovely hard smooth texture. I have tried to retain as much of the original tree's character as possible. This is a timber that is not found in many wood turners' stock but is my favourite island wood to work with.
